Annual Property Tax Compliance Season
Happy New Year and welcome 2020! Now that the holidays are over, it is time to get busy and gather the appropriate information for the 2020 property tax compliance season. Not only are we gathering the data necessary to file complete and accurate property tax renditions, we need to analyze it as well. Are all the CIP costs related to actual, physical assets? Is there an unusually high amount of additions, with no disposals? Are there material differences of percentage calculations of Freeport inventory between last year and this year? The sooner we analyze the data, submit our questions and receive answers, the better our position as the filing deadlines begin rapidly approaching.
